JAMSHEDPUR: Jamshedpur district administration has asked corporate houses to submit Annual CSR plan by end of this month. DC Amitabh Kaushal recently issued orders in this regard. In this respect, CSR district committee meeting chaired by the Deputy Commissioner, the committee member (administrative officials and corporate representatives) were present.
He asked corporates to go for short term plan, whereby more and more people are benefited. The meeting mainly been asked to collaborate on three points.
Furniture (desks and benches), health camps, mobile vans to donate via check or Chief Minister’s Relief Fund were suggested. Corporate house representatives were informed that the way for them no geographical barriers, but they can choose the way to school or where currently this feature is missing.
The District Education Officer and District Education Superintendent were asked to prepare a list of 10-12 schools.
At the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Amitabh Kaushal, DDC Binod Kumar, Project Director, the Director of Social Welfare Ranjana Mishra, Ashish Kumar Sinha District Welfare Officer, District Education Officer Mukesh Kumar Sinha, District Education Superintendent Indubhusn Singh, ADC (invitees ) Sunil Kumar, Tata Steel’s vice president Sunil Bhaskaran, Rituraj Sinha, Jusco, Tata Power, Lafarge, Tata Motors, Tinplate India Pvt. LTD., Usil representatives were present.
The provision in the Companies Act Schedule 135 of the Companies Act provides detailed information about the CSR. What it plans to include in the Seventh Schedule, is reported. The CSR Council formed by industry secretary, then remained at the district level committee.
