Major portion of the amount will be spent towards development of periphery villages adjacent to Mines and Refinery Complex.  In a meeting held between the senior officers of NALCO and the district administration, a consensus has been drawn for extending maximum cooperation for carrying out these development works in the district.  Patil affirmed that the money will be utilised for completion of 94 ongoing development projects, with some new ones.
