4th wheel to organize a seminar on CSR in Ahmedabad on 4 June

Ahmedabad: 4th Wheel is organizing a one day seminar on CSR on June 4, 2011 in Ahmedabad. The seminar shall showcase “Sustainable Social Business Models as forms of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) investments”. In addition, it is a networking event for corporates and NGOs to build alliances and increase interface. 4th Wheel is a social enterprise which focuses on research, advocacy and consultancy of Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in Gujarat. Mr. Asit Vora, Mayor of Ahmedabad will be chief guest of the seminar.

Ms Payal Mulchandani, co-founder of 4th Wheel informed INDIACSR that the seminar is conceptualized to cater to the growing interest in CSR, provide information related to CSR initiatives, supply options for use of CSR funds and volunteering, understand Socio-economic impact of initiatives, explore social business models leading to sustainable and inclusive growth, advocate and facilitate investments and contributions by businesses towards economic and social development and Initiate a networking platform for corporates and NGOs.
