NEW DELHI: Institute of Directors (IOD) is organizing 7 th International Conference on Social Responsibility during 24- 26 April 2012 at Hotel InterCon Dubai Festival City in Dubai. The theme of the Conference is  ”Making CSR an Actionable Business Agenda”. This is being organised in association with Dubai Quality Group ( DQG), Govt. of UAE and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). Manoj K Raut, CEO & Director of IOD informed today INDIA CSR.

In this Conference we would like to present stories of how a number of companies are at the forefront of strategic CSR, as well as their alliance partners, and  explore the evolution of corporate citizenship. Using CSR tool as wealth creation and its followed guidelines by various countries will be debated during the event. Mr Raut added.

He said, around 350 Global leaders, policy makers, opinion-formers and experts from around the globe will join together to share ideas and dilemmas, and think about strategies to address future trends for the effective implementation of a holistic and integrated action on the burning issues facing humanity  such as climate change, world security, financial regulation and poverty alleviation.

The famed Golden Peacock Awards for CSR , Philanthropy and Social Leadership will be presented during the event .
