International Conference on CSR in Jabalpur

JABALPUR:  Xavier Institute of Management Jabalpur (XIMJ) an educational wing of Xavier Institute of Development Action and Studies (XIDAS) is the charitable, non-profit, minority educational institution and it is also a social and developmental organization.

XIMJ is organizing International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from 4 – 5  October 2012 at its campus. The Conference would provide a platform to the Academicians, Non-Governmental Organisations, Corporate Houses and Government Institutions to come together and share their rich experience in the area of CSR and propose some sustainable CSR strategies.

The conference is likely to witness participants from various prestigious bodies like the Asian Development Bank, Coal India Ltd., Mahan Coal Limited, NTPC Ltd., Vedanta, Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company, Various State and Central Universities, Various Corporate Bodies etc.

Secretary to Ministry for Heavy Industries and PSU has kindly consented to deliver keynote welcome address. Apart from the above CISCA, Aarhus – Denmark (Supported by European Union) has also recommended Conference and the details can be seen on their website.(http://www.cisca.dk/). Delegates from Belgian Embassy and representatives of state and central government are also likely to participate in the International Conference.
