The student fraternity of Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM) Bhopal is coming up with the ‘CSR India Conclave 2010′, a one day conclave, on 23rd October 2010. The conclave aims to bring the various stakeholders (policy makers, corporate houses, PSUs, NGOs and the academia) under one single roof and to align the business activities with CSR initiatives to create an equitable environment of partnership between business and the society.
It also encourages national and international NGOs to come up with well drafted development proposals which shall be presented before the corporate heads for implementation.
The ‘CSR India Conclave 2010′ will be held in four sessions spanning throughout the day. The first session ‘Keynote Addresses’ will see eminent speakers addressing a revered gathering, which would comprise of esteemed personalities from the corporate world, NGOs, INGOs as well as academia, on predefined topics.

The second session of the conclave will witness a lively and highly knowledgeable ‘Panel Discussion’ wherein five seasoned CSR professional will discuss the topic ‘Building effective CSR partnerships and challenges in implementation, measuring and reporting of CSR’ inside-out for one hour. This spectacular discussion will follow a public discussion for about 15 minutes.
The third session of the event ‘Social Innovations Idea Competition’ will see participants from leading b-schools as well as NGOs and INGOs locking horns with each other as in this session they will not only be presenting their socially innovative ideas addressing different dimensions of society and economy but also will be vying to outshine each other. The winners of this competition would see their ideas evolving into socially viable and responsible projects in future.
The fourth and final session of the conclave ‘Samvad’ will be an exhibition of ideas, thoughts and experiences of some of the reputed national and international organizations wherein a representative of each participating organization will make a presentation of about five minutes and try to highlight remarkable works carried by the organization as part of its CSR activities in the process.
Call for CSR Activities’ Presentation:
Corporates, NGOs and other organizations that are in CSR can send in their CSR activities/initiatives presentation by October 12, 2010 (6:00PM). The maximum number of slide should be seven, including title slide.
