LANJIGARH: Sesa Sterlite under its CSR Program has aimed to promote several developmental activities in the Peripheral Project Affected areas.
Today Sesa Sterlite in association with Vedanta Foundation has started a new Computer Literacy center at Gram Panchayat Office Ambadola in Rayagada District. This Center has been inaugurated by Sri EnkaKadraka, Sarapanch of Ambadola G.P in the presence of Dr Lona Nayak, CEO, Vedanta Foundation and KR Kundu Head HR from Sesa Sterlite Limited.
In his Speech Sarapanchsays”This project will be helpful to the youths of the Panchayat and praised SesaSterlite and Vedanta Foundation for doing such type of activities”.
Vedanta Foundation under its CALP program has connected with the more rural youths across country and she advised the villagers to go with the advance technology said Dr Lona Nayak, CEO Vedanta Foundation.
K.R. Kundu, Head HRD, Sesa Sterlite praised villagers interest and told that Sesa Sterlite is a responsible company doing for the development of the people in case of Health,Education,Infrastructure,Livelihood.Earlier after getting certificates some of them have been engaged in several organizations.
Among these Presented on the occasion are Niharika Sahoo-Head CSR , Sweta Upadhay, Alka Minj, Sidhartha Behera from Sesa Sterlite, Debasish Chakraborty-Regional Manager, Dinabandhu Bishi, Tapas Pattnaik from Vedanta Foundation & Rama Prakash, Panchanan Karkaria, Anand Takri from Villagers. Theprogram runs by Vedanta Foundation.
Looking to the Sevier Cold in the region, Sesa Sterlite in association with Vedanta Foundation has distributed 1000 winter wears & Foot wear (Chappal) among the PAP villagers in Old Ambadola. Company has aimed to enable the women to earn in house and will provide tailoring training by opening a tailoring Center in the next week.
