Drive India Enterprise Solutions wins Customer and Brand Loyalty award in logistics sector

MUMBAI: Drive India Enterprise Solutions (Diesl), the logistics arm of the Tata group, has won the Customer and Brand Loyalty award in the ‘logistics sector -third party logistics’ category at the 4th Loyalty Awards held in Mumbai on January 27, 2011. The Loyalty Awards are presented by Carlson Marketing (global leader in marketing services and brand loyalty programmes) and Kamikaze B2B Media.

The Loyalty Awards were given out during the Loyalty Summit held in Mumbai at Intercontinental, The Lalit, on January 27 and 28, 2011. The award was presented by Nik Laming, SVP, Asia Pacific and MD, Singapore / Malaysia / India, Carlson Marketing, and Harish Bhatia, CEO, Kamikaze B2B Media and project managing director, Loyalty Summit and Awards. The awards, now in their fourth year, are the outcome of a combination of customer research undertaken in six cities of India with a sample of 25,000 customers and 500 corporates aided by nominations received from organisations. These awards were decided on the basis of a research conducted by AC Nielsen.

Speaking on the occasion, Ajay Chopra, CEO, Diesl, commented, “As the third party logistics segment evolves in India we believe that superior service quality will be a key differentiator. Diesl, a Tata group company, jointly owned by Tata Industries and Tata International, is a leading provider of integrated logistics solutions, with over 176 warehouses connecting 5,000 towns across India. Diesl operates more than 4.4 million sq ft of warehouse area, covering around 90 per cent of the country’s districts and managing over 3.25 million transactions per month.
